Cage Options

RollCage.ie offer an extensive range of options and accessories for many of our standard products that provide additional functionality or address specific usage conditions. Most units can be fitted with additional shelves to give better space utilization and to protect product from crushing.  If transporting caustic substances we now provide the option of using plastic base trays and shelves   on some cages.  Doors are provided as standard on most cages and loose straps can be used to secure your goods when in transport.

We can advise on the choice of wheels and castors which may vary depending on the environment where the units will be used.

All of our VARIOfit range bears this certification stamp so you can be sure that VARIOfit products are not only safe but built to last.

Bespoke Units

Rollcage.ie offer a range of customization solutions from simple modification of exiting standard units, though to the design and manufacture of unique returnable load carriers our the design team in RollCage.ie can offer you an end to end solution.  With more than 30 year’s experience both locally and internationally our design team can assist in the design of a solution, advise of the best materials to use and manage the entire production process.  By using  computer aided design (CAD)  RollCage.ie provides customers with clarity throughout the entire process from conceptual design to the final construction drawings.  Certain modifications would be provided by our own in-house engineering team and we have partnered with leading fabrication organisations locally and for larger production requirements in the Far East.

We have produced a broad range of bespoke solutions for pharmaceutical, brewery’s, manufacturing and distribution/warehousing organisations.  Our design team can visit you today and discuss your requirements. Rollcage.ie can produce units using stainless steel or mild steel and offer a range of coatings from Galvanising to Zinga or powder coating  and would be happy to advise on the optimum choice depending on environmental requirements, budget and branding.

Unique Identity

RollCage.ie offer an range of options to help to clearly identify your returnable load carriers/Cages.  Most cages are provided as standard with a flat plate that can be used to affix an identifying label.  We can provide these labels which are made from high quality vinyl with your company logo and contact details.  Today,  most clients would also apply one or multiple Bar Codes to uniquely identify this unit for traceability and asset management/maintenance purposes.   We can provide optional additional ID plates in varying sizes if required, which may be used for additional asset tagging purposes or for affixing shipping documentation.

For large volume order we can emboss the name of your organisation into the metal profile & plate of the cage all along the tubing, allowing you to identify the cage no matter where it turns up, or how many labels are put over it.   We also provide  the option of powder coating your bulk order cages to your companies RAL color.

With supply chain visibility and item trace-ability on the top of many or our clients agenda  Rollcage.ie provide a range of unique IOT (Internet of Thing’s) tracking solutions. We have focused on solutions that offer a long battery life, are compact and provide excellent GPS location information. Dependent of the requirement we offer a range of technologies and a cloud based platform giving you geo-location information, real-time notifications and the ability to report information from environmental monitors or sensors.   Our solutions can be integrated with load planning, WMS or Route Optimisation platforms.
